Sarah Cameron Sunde (Director) is a director/translator committed to developing new American work and creating productions of foreign plays that resonate for American audiences. Among other projects, she directed three U.S. premieres of plays by international master playwrights: The Asphalt Kissby Brazil's Nelson Rodrigues (Drama Desk-nominated production), and her own translations of Night Sings its Songsand deathvariationsby Norway's Jon Fosse (upcoming publication in PAJ). She is co-founder of Oslo Elsewhere and Translation Think Tank and the Associate Director of New Georges. She received a Princess Grace Award for her work with the company and will direct the upcoming production of Good Heifby Maggie Smith in October of this year. |
